LPG stands for Liquefied Petroleum Gas and is a mixture of gases produced as a residual product during oil refining. An engine burns LPG much cleaner and more efficiently than diesel and petrol. This makes it less noisy and it does not wear out as fast. The exhaust gases are also cleaner than those of petrol engines. LPG exhaust gases contain significantly less CO2 than petrol cars and much less nitrogen than diesel cars.
